To hire a bike you must be at least 18 years of age and accept the following terms and conditions:
1. It is your responsibility to follow the current traffic regulations. Injury to yourself and others, and damage to property, is also your responsibility when you hire a bike.
2. You are personally responsible for your bike card and the bike until it has been correctly returned. Your card only allows you to hire one bike at a time. Lost or stolen cards must be immediately reported to our customer services. If you do not report it or wait too long, you will be held responsible for misuse of the card. Lost cards are not replaced. Purchase on approval or cancelation does not apply for over the counter purchase. See our website for on-line purchase regulations.
3. You may hire the bike for a maximum three hours at a time during our opening hours. If you do not return the bike in time, Clear Channel can block your bike card.
4. Return the bike in good condition to a Stockholm City bike stand and report any damage. Please ensure that you return the bike correctly. The lock lamp reverts from green to red and the bike is then locked.
5. If the bike is parked/locked outside the bike system stations it is the complete responsibility of the card holder. Theft/loss of a bike must immediately be reported to Clear Channel. You are obliged to cooperate with customer service and to fill in a police report. If you do not follow the above terms and conditions and the bike is stolen or damaged you are liable to pay Clear Channel for theft and repairs up to
3 000 SEK (including Swedish VAT). If you have bought self risk reduction you will be liable to pay a maximum of 800 SEK (including Swedish VAT). Clear Channelcan not be held responsible for injuries sustained when using a bike. This limitation of responsiblity does not apply if the injury is caused by gross negligence on the part of Clear Channel.
Read our instructions and map before hiring for the first time.
